(Dolce & Gabbana; Burger King)
In
the Dolce & Gabbana advertisement it seems that the model is Madonna and
she is washing dishes. While washing
dishes, she is wearing a dress from Dolce & Gabbana. I think the company
sends the message that even housewives can wear that brand. I don’t really like
how this ad was set up because it isn’t really relevant to how expensive the
dress is. She is (semi) striking a pose while rinsing a plate. If the ad didn’t
have the clothing logo I would have thought it was for Madonna’s CD or
something along those lines.
In
this Burger King advertisement it has a women dressed up as a gladiator (?)
with spatulas, pans, a gigantic whisk and pan lids on her shoulders. She must
be a huge cooking fan. I would see these types of ads in a magazine, a
newspaper, and I think also mail in deals. I would advertise this in the restaurant.
I think that the message on the ad means that they are the best for lunch food
rather than their competitors.
